A new book about the final year of Deep Purple’s classic lineup will be published on the 25th anniversary of Ritchie Blackmore’s last appearance with the band. AC/DC new album? Brian, Johnson, Angue Young, Stevie Young, and Phil Rudd were spotted in Vancouver. Vancouver is where the band has recorded their last three albums. Fans can only hope the band reunites; however, the lineup would be without Malcom Young and Cliff Williams.

Joe Perry has confirmed that Aerosmith will stage a Las Vegas residency in 2019. He also says they’re working to ensure these shows will be “something different” from Aerosmith’s usual performances as their 50th anniversary looms. More details to follow… – Ultimate Classic Rock

Weezer was challenged by a fan to cover the Toto song “Africa”. The band finally recorded it and it has become their biggest single yet. Then  Toto was challenged to do a Weezer song. Toto returned the favor by performing “Hashpipe”. Listen here.
